The rough construction of the first shopping center-type mall in Gabrovo was completed, told investors of the project. The construction of the facility started on November 30, 2007. Investor is Mall Gabrovo Ltd - Bulgarian company with the participation of Gabrovo. The investment in the facility, along with the design and construction is expected to exceed 12 million euros, stated Mr. Veselin Stanchev, one of the managers Mall Gabrovo LTD.
Up to today the finishing of all internal installation as well as the outside facade are on much progressed stage. MALL GABROVO has a gross floor area of over 15 000 square meters and is located in close proximity to regional and municipal administration, the Central Square and Central Post. The architecture of the building is unique- restored the facade of a former cultural monument located there.
Prerequisite for the realization of such a concept for the commercial site is the location of the Mall Gabrovo and development of the city in recent years, indicated by the investor company. It is planned to be built about 40 shops on two floors and a large supermarket 2000 square meters of the first underground floor, which is already committed to the chain Elemag Gourmet. Third and fourth floor are entertainment - there will be placed bowling "Galaxy", a piano bar, restaurant with panoramic terrace, three fast-food stand, a café "Coffee shop" and well-equipped children's playground.
There will be a salon for shoes and accessories "LEONARDO", and shop for black and white technique "DENSI. There will be a bank, mobile operator, Photo services, dry cleaning, pharmacy, luxury perfumery. More of the stores in the Mall of Gabrovo will be with Bulgarian and world brands, which at this time are not known on the territory of Gabrovo Municipality. Until now 75 % of the areas are taken .
In view of the need for a large number of parking spaces for the operation of such complex, the difficulties created by limited space and infrastructure of the typical inner city have been solved with two underground levels of garages. The building complies with all requirements for building an accessible environment for persons with disabilities. Vertical communication takes place through 8 escalator, centrally located, four stairways, two lorries and three passenger elevators providing direct access to brief all functional areas.
Interior design and space decisions are made by "Regal Design" together with architectural studio "Uzunov project". The main contractor of the works is "Force Build" LTD. Designer of the site is an architectural studio "Uzunov project".
