Greece is among the four most significant foreign investors in Bulgaria and Romania and its direct investments in these countries for the first six months of this year exceed 5,5 billion Euro, according to data cited by the Athenian paper "Imerisia".The bank sector and real estate are the most attractive for Greek capitals. The investments of Greek companies in Bulgaria surpass 2,5 billion Euro and are mainly concentrated in real estate. Moreover, Greek banks in Bulgaria own 29% of the total assets.
